Big
Game Fishing
Half day trips on a luxury power boat out to Robben Island introduce
you to some big game fishing, or a full day trip can be taken
out to Cape Point, for a bigger catch.
Beaches
Cape Town is rimmed by spectacular white sandy beaches.
Boating Trips
You can take a sunset cruise, an invigorating sail or a cruise
out to Robben Island.
Motor Biking
You can hop on a shining Harley Davidson, and explore the curvy
roads of the Cape.
Sailing
Watch out for whales, and sightings of dolphins are common.
Scenic Flights
Soar above the birds to view the Cape Peninsula, the coast line
around Cape Town or the winelands. A trip up the west coast,
stopping off for a fresh seafood lunch along the way, is the
ultimate treat.
Table Mountain Cable Way
The new cable way has just been completed and rivals with
the best in the world.
Diving
Scuba diving course can be taken if you are wanting to get your
qualification for more exciting diving along the coast of South
Africa. Courses are undertaken in pools, before you venture
into the sea for your four qualifying dives.
Jet
skiing
Jet skis can be rented, or you can take a guided tour, and
explore the waters around Granger Bay.
Sea Kayaking
Sunset or sunrise cruises from Three-anchor Bay, this is your
chance to see dolphins and seals in the bay, whilst watching
the sun sink or rise over the mountains surrounding the Cape.
Shark Diving
If you prefer to interact rather than just watch, you can dive
into the shark tanks at the Two Ocean Aquarium. Of course you
need to have your diving qualification before being allowed
near the tanks.
Water Skiing
There are water-skiing trips from the Waterfront out into
Table Bay, but be aware that the water is freezing!
