Mount Edgecombe Golf Lodge offers the visitor a taste of Colonial Elegance. Its lodge is built along those elegant, colonial lines which remind one of early Africa - without the hardship!

Situated on the ninth tee of Course One (there are two golf courses at Mount Edgecombe), the Lodge is within walking distance of the Clubhouse and all its facilities.

The magnificent, subtropical vegetation allows you to believe that you are in a golfers´paradise - indeed you are!

The province of Kwazulu-Natal offers the tourist many options. The magnificent white beaches of the Indian Ocean can be enjoyed or trips taken into the nearby Drakensberg Mountains.

Driving through sugar cane fields so typical of Kwazulu-Natal, the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, Shakaland, Crocodile Creek and Umfolozi Game Park are all within easy reach. Your `non-golfing´ hours could just be full.

Alternatively, should you require to complete relaxation, a private pool can be enjoyed while two floodlit tennis courts and a squash court are on offer.

Mount Edgecombe Golf Lodge is situated 1.5 kms from Gateway Shopping Centre and Casino, 3 kms from Umhlanga Rocks, 15 kms from Durban and 35 kms from Durban International Airport in Kwazulu-Natal.

From Durban airport:
Take the N2 (north) in the direction of Stanger.
Turn left at the Mount Edgecombe/Umhlanga off-ramp and follow sign posts.

From Durban :
Take the M4 in the direction of Umhlanga.
Turn left at the Umhlanga off-ramp, cross the N2.
Turn left at the signpost for Mount Edgecombe and enter Estate.

With just six double rooms, guests are ensured of the personalised hospitality of our resident Manager Couple, who will give you their full attention during your stay.

At Mount Edgecombe Lodge luxury and elegance combine to bring you ease and comfort. All rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with mini bar, satellite television and wall-safe.

The bedrooms are spacious, elegant and comfortable. Twin beds can be arranged to suit couples or single golfers sharing.
