The Golf Clubhouse raised to overlook the 9th and 18th Holes offers a view unsurpassed. Sitting on the patio having a chilled refreshment is the perfect way to relax after an exciting day on the golf course.

For the more adventurous, the large Cleveland Game Park, open exclusively to our guests, offers the chance to see lion, elephant, buffalo, and leopard, as well as a wide variety of other African game, in an unspoiled environment. This reserve boasts an exclusive 8 bed Lodge on the banks of the Olifants River where you can view hippos and bird life at sunset from the deck.

Golf
Hans Merensky boasts a Championship 18-hole Golf Course where crocodile and hippo add spice to the normal "hazards" of a good game of golf. The impressive clubhouse provides all the appropriate amenities for golfers including an outstanding Pro shop, with vast number of Clubcars
The legendary Bob Grimsdell designed course extends over a vast area of indigenous bush, interspersed with tranquil pools and velvet greens.

Tennis Courts
Six tennis courts are floodlit and available to both in-house guests and members. Rackets and balls are available on request.

Squash
We have 2 air-conditioned squash courts for in-house guests and members.

Gymnasium
A fully equipped gymnasium rounds off the sporting facilities of Hans Merensky Estate. This includes a sauna and overlooks the sport swimming pool.

Air-conditioned and secluded en suite accommodation is offered in the form of 30 thatched chalets situated along the golf course.

Awake to the sounds of birds and watch as a herd of impala graze lazily at your doorstep.

Each chalet is a short walk from the clubhouse.

In addition, 14 air-conditioned en suite Hotel rooms overlooking the Hotel swimming pool and Pool Bar offer accommodation closer to the main Hotel Block.

Hans Merensky Olifants River Bush Lodge

Situated along the banks of the Olifants River & in Hans Merensky’s Big 4 Game Reserve Cleveland which borders the Kruger National Park, the Bush Lodge sleeps a maximum of 10 guests in 5 bungalows.

This exclusive hideaway offers guests a fantastic opportunity to unwind in a fabulous bush setting.

Meals are prepared on an open fire in a traditional Boma & the deck raised to overlook the river is the ideal place to have your sundown drinks watching the sunset & host of wild animals quenching their thirst.

The venue is also close enough to the main hotel & golf course to make use of it’s exquisite facilities.We will happily transport you to have a game of golf or make use of the sporting facilities.

The Bush Camp has a lovely bar & swimming pool on the deck.

There is an air-conditioned lounge area indoors for one to put one’s feet up on a comfortable couch if the African heat becomes too over powering.

Each bungalow is thatched, air-conditioned and has en suite bathroom with shower.

Leadwood Restuarant:
The formal Leadwood A-la-Carte restaurant is reknown for its 5 star cuisine and is the primary dinner venue.

The Lapa:
The Leadwood Lapa is a superb outdoor venue for all meals including BBQ banquets upon request.

The "Koppie":
BBQ's, "potjies" and informal gatherings can be held at the outdoor "Koppie" by prior arrangement.
