The Atlantic Beach Golf Course is a links course in
the tradition of such fabled courses as St Andrews and
Pebble Beach. Winding its way through the undulating
dunes, and peppered with islands of Fynbos, the challenging
(yet fair) course has been designed to be as enjoyable
for the expert as it is for the weekend golfer.
The golf course, including the R18-million clubhouse,
has been open for play since June 2000. International
golf course architects, Golf Data, who are associated
with Jack Nicklaus and his well-known "signature"
golf courses, are responsible for the design and construction
and maintenance of the golf course.
