Golf Course
Clovelly has always been one of the most popular golf
clubs in the Western Cape. A robust membership profile
ensures that the club thrives from sporting, competitive,
social and financial perspectives.
Apart from the 105 bowling section members and the
78 tennis section members, Clovelly has a very strong
golf section consisting of some 885 men members and
290 lady members.
The golf course and facilities are consistently rated
in the top fifty in the country by a leading panel of
raters utilized in the annual South African "Compleat
Golfer" survey of golf clubs. Some 58 000 rounds
are played on the golf course each year so it is necessary
to plan and book your rounds in advance. Even though
this is a high number of rounds, the course is consistently
in good condition with greens that are respected around
the world!
