DAY 1:
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be
met and transferred to the St
Georges Hotel where you will spend 4 nights
B&B. Your hired vehicle will be delivered to your hotel
shortly after your arrival. Spend the balance of the day exploring
the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, situated only
4 minutes drive away. The hotel also offers a shuttle service.
DAY 2
This morning play golf at the Milnerton Golf Club or Atlantic
Beach Golf Estate (both "Links" courses). This
afternoon we suggest (to own account) you tour around the
city and visit Table Mountain (weather permitting) or take
a cruise / helicopter tour of the Peninsula.
DAY 3
Spend the day at leisure. Suggested activity: Visit the Boulders
Beach Penguin Colony, continuing thereafter to Cape Point
Nature Reserve for lunch at the Two Oceans Restaurant followed
by a tour of the area. En-route back to the hotel, visit Kirstenbosch
Gardens.
DAY 4
Play golf this morning at Royal Cape Golf Club or Steenberg
Golf Estate. Spend the balance of the day shopping at
Canal Walk - Century City, one of Cape Town's largest shopping
Malls or enjoy a beach outing.
DAY 5
After a leisurely breakfast transfer to the Winelands where
you will stay at either The
Dorpshuis or Die
Ou Pastorie for 3 nights B&B. (allow 40
min). This afternoon play golf at Stellenbosch Golf Course
(Erinvale is closed to the public during most of the season)
DAY 6
Spend the day at leisure exploring the beautiful winelands
area & visit the famous Boschendal Wine Estate for lunch
(to own account - booking essential) Other options: The Lion
Park, Butterfly World. Monkeytown or a horse back wine tour
in the stunningly beautiful Franshhoek winelands
OR
Drive to Hermanus, playing optional golf at Arabella Golf
Estate or Hermanus Golf Club and then a tour of this quaint
seaside village doing some whale-watching (seasonal).
DAY 7
Play golf at Spier Golf Estate this morning and then
enjoy some wine tasting at their 19th hole cellar. After which
we suggest you transfer to The Village at Spier for a late
picnic lunch around the lake and have a close encounter with
their Cheetahs & Birds of Prey. (wine-tasting, lunch &
entrance fees to own account)
DAY 8
Take a slow and leisurely drive up the Garden Route stopping
off at The Wilderness (just beyond George) where you will
stay at The
Wilderness Beach Hotel for 2 nights B&B.
(allow approx: 5 hours traveling time)
DAY 9
Play golf in George at Fancourt
on the Bramble Hill course or Optional The Links, which will
be closed during Nov 03 for The Presidents Cup. Only Fancourt
residents can play the Montugu and Outeniqua courses.
This afternoon we suggest you visit the pristine Wilderness
Beach and tour the area.
DAY 10
Today transfer to Knysna (approx: 25min drive) where you will
stay at Knysna
River Club B&B (self-catering) or Brenton-on-sea
B&B for 3 nights.
DAYS 11 - 12
While in the Knysna and Plettenberg Bay area you will play
golf at Knysna Golf Club and Goose Valley. Optional
sight-seeing activities: Visit the Knysna Elephants where
you can feed, hug and touch these gentle giants.Take a cruise
to the Knysna Heads and enjoy fresh oysters on the quayside.
Laze on Pletts stunning beaches or enjoy the many wonderful
sight-seeing attractions such as: Dolphin / Whale-watching
cruises, Buffalo Hills Game Reserve, Monkeyland & Glider
flips over the bay
DAY 13
Today you can either: (1) drive back to George where you will
board your flight to Cape Town to connect with your onward
flight home. Deposit your vehicle at the George Airport (2)
drive back to Cape Town (allow 5 ½ hrs) arriving at
the Cape Town International Airport in good time for your
flight back home. Deposit your hired vehicle at the Cape Town
Airport.
