DAY 1
On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport check in
for your connecting flight to Cape Town. You will be met at
the Cape Town Domestic arrivals and transferred to the Commodore
or Portswood
Hotel both 2 minutes stroll to the famous Victoria
& Alfred Waterfront, where you will spend 5 nights
B&B. Your hired vehicle (to own account) will be delivered
to your hotel shortly after your arrival.Spend the balance
of the day exploring the shops, restaurants and entertainment
at the Waterfront.
DAY 2
This morning play golf at Milnerton or Atlantic Beach,
both "Links" Courses. Suggested optional activities
for this afternoon. Tour around the city and visit Table Mountain
- weather permitting or if playing Atlantic Beach,
pop in at the nearby seaside town of "Melkbosstrand"
and then continue along the Westcoast visiting the Ostrich
farm and Afrika Village.
DAY 3
Day at leisure. Optional activities Visit the Boulders Beach
Penguin Colony in Simonstown, continuing thereafter to Cape
Point Nature Reserve for lunch at the Two Oceans Restaurant
(booking essential) followed by a tour of the area.
DAY 4
Play golf this morning at Royal Cape Golf Club or Steenberg
Golf Estate. Optional activities for this afternoon. Drive
around the Constantia winelands area and stop off for lunch
at Uitsig or Groot Constantia and then visit Kirstenbosch
Gardens en-route back to your hotel. (table reservations essential)
DAY 5
Play golf today at Westlake or Clovelly Golf Clubs.
Optional activities. Laze on one of Cape Towns famous beaches,
take a helicopter flip over the Peninsula, a cruise to Robben
Island or go shopping at Canal Walk - Century City, one the
Cape's most popular Shopping Malls. For golfing requirements
go to The Pro Shop at N1 City.
DAY 6
After a leisurely breakfast drive to Stellenbosch (approx:
40 minutes) where you will stay at Erinvale
Golf Estate for 3 nights B&B. Play golf
this afternoon on the Erinvale golf course.
DAY 7
Play golf today on the Spier
DeZalze or at Paarl Boschenmeer. Balance of
the day at leisure. Optional activities. Roam around the interesting
Village at Spier where you can have a really close encounter
with their cheetahs and birds of Prey and enjoy some wine
tasting and a picnic lunch around the lake. Alternatively
visit one or two of the many world-renowned wine estates in
the area for some more wine-tasting.
DAY 8
Spend the day at leisureOptional activities Take a drive through
Stellenbosch, South Africa's 2nd oldest town and then visit
the seaside towns of The Strand and Gordons Bay.Take an unusual
wine tour by horseback in the beautiful Franshhoek area or
alternatively visit Butterfly World and Monkeytown.
DAY 9
After breakfast continue along the scenic Garden Route and
at George check in atFancourt
Golf and Country Estate where you will stay for
3 nights B&B. (allow 5hrs traveling time) If you depart
CT early enough you could stop off at Big Brak, 30min drive
before George, to enjoy a "game style lunch" and
game drive at Botlierskop
Game Farm, which offers stunning views. (booking essential)
DAY 10
Play golf on either the Outeniqua or Montagu courses
and spend the balance of the day at leisure.
DAY 11
Optional: Enjoy a full day tour of Oudtshoorn. (Cango caves,
Ostrich Farm and Cango Wild-life Ranch) Ensure that you travel
back to George before dusk to avoid the mist on the Outeniqua
Mountain Pass.
DAY 12
Play golf at Fancourt's Links course and then continue
your trip on to either Knysna or Plettenberg Bay where you
will stay at Hog
Hollow Country Lodge just outside Plett for 3 nights
B&B
DAY 13
Play golf today on the Pezula Club (Sparrebosch). Optional
activities. Take a cruise to the famous Knysna Heads and enjoy
some oysters or other seafood on the quayside.
DAY 14
Play golf at Goose Valley. Optional activities. Laze
on Pletts stunning beaches or enjoy the many nearby wonderful
sight seeing attractions such as Knysna Elephants, Whale-watching
cruises, Monkeyland or a Glider flip over the bay. (optional
and to own account)
DAY 15
Drive back to George this morning for your flight to Johannesburg.
Deposit your hired vehicle at the airport. On arrival at the
Johannesburg Domestic Airport you will be met and transferred
to Sun City where you will stay at
The Cascades or Sun City Hotel for 3 nights
B&B.
DAY 16
Play golf today on The Gary Player course, annual host
to the Nedbank Million Dollar Challenge (usually late Nov-early
Dec). Spend the balance of the day enjoying all the facilities
that Sun City has to offer.
DAY 17
Play golf today at The Lost City watching out for the
real live crocodile water hole. Balance of day at leisure.
DAY 18
After a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to the
Pilanesburg National Game Park (15 min drive) where you will
stay at Bakubung
Lodge for 3 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast
basis. Enjoy this afternoon's optional game drive and "Boma
dinner" (barbeque)
DAY 19
Enjoy a whole days activities at your Lodge (to own account)
DAY 20
Your last chance to see more game (to own account)
DAY 21
After brunch you will be transferred to Johannesburg International
Airport for your flight back home. En-route your driver will
stop off at what is considered to be Africa's largest curio
market place for some last minute curio shopping. Allow time
for refund of VAT at the Airport.
